Shipping & Returns


RETURN POLICY


  1. If you wish to cancel your order:
    1. you can notify us by email to before we have dispatched the goods to you;
      or
    2. where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with clause 2 below.
  2. You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange. There is a 20% restocking fee on returned items.  If exchanging an item the restocking fee is waived for the first exchange only.  The costs of returning or exchanging goods with us shall be borne by you.  See "RESTOCKING FEES AND CONDITIONS" below for additional detail.
  3. Certain items may not be returned under any circumstances required by law.  See "NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS BELOW".
  4. When returning for a refund, upon receipt of the goods we will refund the amount in the same manor in which it was paid as required by law.
  5. The rights to return the goods to us as referred to in clause 3 will not apply in the following circumstances: -
    1. in the event that the product has been used - (see "exchange product conditions" below)
    2. to any products that we have made or customized specifically for you

  6. The provisions of this clause 4 do not affect your statutory rights.
  7. After 90 days following the purchase, no product will be refundable under any conditions.

RESTOCKING FEES AND CONDITIONS - EXCHANGED VS RETURNED ITEMS

EXCHANGED ITEMS - Restocking fee will be waived for your first exchange (one item for exchange only).  RETURNED ITEMS - Restocking fees will not be waived for returned items.

  1. 20% RESTOCKING FEE (minimum $5.00) per item will apply to all additional exchanges or any product refund we allow.
  2. If you would like to exchange a product, we must receive it back to us within 30 days of your order delivery the following:
    • Product & packaging in new re-saleable condition (see exchange product condition).
    • Exchange form completed.(use the online exchange form or ask for one at customerservice@finefittings.org and one will be emailed to you).
    • Copy of your original order receipt.

Return freight charges are to be pre-paid by you (collect shipments will be refused). Please allow up to 7-10 days for exchange to be processed.

  1. Shipping and handling (S/H) charges apply to all exchanges. Products will be shipped back to you by standard S/H, unless otherwise specified.
  2. Restocking fees apply to any product refund we allow.
  3. Exchange charges or refunds will be applied to the order's original form of payment.

WIGS ONLY - AS MOST WIGS ARE ALTERED AND CUSTOMIZED - You may return wigs for EXCHANGE ONLY. NO cash, check or credit card refunds

 

EXCHANGE OR RETURN PRODUCT CONDITION:

  1. A product returned for exchange must be received back to us in NEW RESALEABLE CONDITION.
  2. We will NOT exchange a product that we determine to have been brushed, combed, stretched, cut, torn, damaged or visibly worn.
  3. Products returned must not arrive back to us with any odor such as hair sprays, styling product, perfume, cigarette, or cigar smoke.
  4. The products returned must be free from loose hairs, stains, skin oils or make-up.
  5. All original packaging, tags, instructions and netting must be returned. If the box or packaging for the product is missing or crushed, ripped, damaged, marked, taped or written on there will be a $5.00 Box/Packaging fee charged.

 

In consideration of all our customers who purchase our products as new, these conditions are STRICTLY ENFORCED and any product not meeting the above criteria may be REFUSED and RETURNED back to the customer at their expense.

 

Product Handling Advise.

In our salon we required our customers to wear a cap liner prior to trying on any wig, hats, or turban products. If you feel you may want to exchange a product, we highly recommend, depending on the product, you wear a cap liner or undergarments, take all necessary hygiene precautions and use extreme care when trying on the product so not to risk having an exchange refused for a product not meeting the above conditions.

 

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS - NO EXCHANGES ON WIG ACCESSORIES, SWIMSUITS OR PANITES:

No returns or exchanges are allowed for the following products:

Swimsuits, Panties, Wig Accessories such as Eyebrows, Cleansers, Conditioners, Sprays, Cap Liners, Sure Grip Liners, Wigs stands, Color Rings Combs and Brushes. Due to sanitary reasons and tampering concerns these products are not returnable.

 

DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT MERCHANDISE:

  1. We recommend you inspect the merchandise you order upon receipt.
  2. In the event you receive any merchandise you feel is defective or is incorrect due to our error, you most notify Fine Fittings WITHIN 5 DAYS of order delivery for any replacement exchange or credit to be considered.
  3. Defective or incorrect products must be received back to us WITHIN 10 DAYS of your order delivery for our inspection.
  4. Return freight charges for the defective or incorrect product are to be pre-paid by you (collect shipments will be refused).
  5. Merchandise found to be defective or that was incorrect due to our error will be exchanged at no charge (includes free S/H for the exchange)
  6. Products determined to of been damaged as a result of customer misuse or excessive treatment will NOT be exchanged (see next section).
  7. Note A defective or incorrect product will ONLY be exchanged for the IDENTICAL or CORRECT PRODUCT originally ordered and no refunds or credits will be issued.

 

PRODUCT RETURNS UNATHORIZED OR NOT IN ACCRDANCE WITH THE ABOVE POLICY:

Products returned not in accordance with our above “Return & Exchange Policy” or are returned due to claims of being defective, but are found to be not defective, will be returned to the customer at their expense. If the product is refused by the customer, Fine Fittings will retain property of the product and No Credit, Refund or Exchange will be issued or allowed to the customer.

Product Eligibility

  1. Eligible product (s) must be in original and perfect factory condition, (unaltered, unworn, undamaged, and with tags attached) and in original packaging.
  2. Items not eligible for exchange: Costume Wigs, Last Call, Clearance, Discontinued, Accessories, Care Products, Special Orders and Wholesale Orders.
  3. If product(s) have been altered, worn, damaged, or tags/packaging tampered with, products will be ineligible and deemed unauthorized.

Exchange Fees

  1. Finefitting.com now offers Hassle-free color exchanges! If you are not happy with your color selection and wish to exchange the same item for a different color the 20% exchange fee will be waived for your first exchange. A handling fee of $5.00 will apply to color exchanges.
  2. 20% exchange fees apply to all other exchange item(s).

 

Note: If you receive style/color help from our experts and the suggestions are not satisfactory, exchange fees and/or handling fees are not waived. Please choose carefully.

 

Charges required to complete exchanges are made on the credit card submitted in the original order.

 

Balances are issued as store credit only and can be used at any time.

 

Shipping Costs on Exchange Shipping charges will apply. We ship via the method chosen on the original order, unless instructions in the exchange package specify otherwise.
